MY FAMILIES TRANSPLANT.
In September 2000 my nan gave my mum a kidney.
A lot of test had to be done to see if my nan was a match.
This is called cross matching and tissue tipping and it was good news
Because she was an identical match.
Before the transplant she took Neoral to suppress the immune system
6.
WHERE THEY PUT THE KIDNEY
The kidney was placed in the right hand side of her torsow
The kidney is attached to the urethra and then on to the bladder
7.
HOW LONG IS MUMS KIDNEY MENT TO LAST
It's suggested time is about 20 years because of the match
8.
THE END
THANK YOU LISTENING 😀😃
