WHERE HE CAME FROM

• His father was King David

WHAT WAS GIVEN TO HIM

• God came to him one day to ask him a question
• God told him he could ask for anything
• And then said he would give it to him if he asked
• Solomon asked for wisdom
• God was pleased with his answer and blessed him with other things to

WHAT HE DID

• He found out who the baby belonged to after a woman lied about it
• He bulit the temple david wanted to but God told him not to
• After building the temple he built his palace
• He hired someone to make furnishings for the temple
• The he dedicates the temple, prays, and makes a lot of sacrafices

THE TURN

• Solomon turned from following the lord
• He married 700 women
• He had 300 concubines
• He made temples for his wives

HIS ADVERSARIES

• After solomon turned from God, God raise adversaries for him
• His first adversary was Hadad the Edomite
• His second was Rezon the son of Eliada
• His third was Jeroboam the son of Nebat an ephraimite
