  • Aids is one of the worst diseases in the world
  • It can be transmitted in a lot of different ways
  • It's also know as HIV
  • 35.3 million people live with HIV
  • 3.35 million children are living with HIV

TRANSMISSION

  • Sexual content
  • Transfusions of contaminated blood
  • The sharing of contaminated needles, and other sharp instruments
  • Threw a mother and her baby during pregnancy
  • Child's birth and breast feeding

SYMPTOMS

  • Fever
  • Soar throat
  • Rash
  • Muscle or joint aches and pains
  • Head aches

TREtMENTS

  • HIV vaccines
  • Medicines for HIV
  • Prescriptions
  • Over the counter meds
  • Alternative therapy

PREVENTING AIDS

  • Don't have unprotected sex
  • Don't share needles
  • Cover cuts and soars
  • When dealing with blood and HIV make sure to wash off afterwards
  • Wear gloves when dealing with blood and medical uses
