• The Pueblo Revolt was a revolt of indeginous people(Pueblo indians) who overthrew spainsh coloizners in New Mexico.
• Many Pueblo indians were harmed, by the spanish colozniers if they didnt agree to being thier slaves.
• The pubelo indians would get hung, whipped, and dismemberment of feet and hands.

Causes of the Pueblo Revolt

• The 2 main causes for the Peubloe revolt were forced labor and religion.
• The spanish colonists forced a harsh forced-labor system called encomienda.
• Spanish colonists also forced many pueblo indians to convert to christianity and prevented them from communicating with their god.

Effects of the Pueblo Revolt

• There was a setback in spainsh exapinson
• All chritsina chruchs were distryoyed.
• There was a pueblo movement to get their homelands back to normal from foreign infulnce.
