Jay and Ray Grayson hate being the twins so when Ray is sick on the first day of school, Jay goes alone. He doesn't tell anyone that he's a twin so Ray and Jay switch places every day so people will think that they are one person. But soon people start to find out there secret!!

When Ray is sick on the first day of school, Jay goes alone. He meets a new friend, Alex! They hang out and Jay realizes that all of his teachers don't say Rays name when they do the attendance. But at lunch he found a note from his mom to tell the office that Ray was sick but Jay doesn't give the note to the office!

While Ray was in science class he met this girl named Melissa and they talked for a bit. They talked everyday. Then Ray told Melissa about the twin switch, Melissa didn't believe him at first but then they talked about it and she finally did! Melissa promised not to tell anyone but she told her friend Caroline and then Caroline blabbered and it went on and on. Finally most of the school new that Jay and Ray were twins!

When Jay goes to school on Friday, he goes to his normal classes. But the school nurse goes through her files during lunch and see the file of Jay Grayson. But she realizes that a guy that looks exactly like him is in that same file, Ray. She calls the principal and Jay down to her office and she also calls their parents!-

-When they talk about the 'accident' in the office, the principal thinks they should be punished at school but the boys parents disagree! They think that this was a simple mistake and that they should be punished at home! . The next week the office had a new folder now one for Ray and Jay. Ray got a new schedule while Jay kept his old one! They now both were going to have the middle school experience!
