ARTICLE 1

SECTION 1

  • All legislative powers shall be given to the Congress of the United States, and it should be split up through the Senate and House of Representatives.

SECTION 2

  • The House of Representatives will be chosen every two years, by the people of different states. If there are vacancies in the representation from any states, the president shall issue

SECTION 3

  • No person can be the senator who hasn't attained 30 years of age. The person has to be nine years as a Citizen. You also have to be apart of that state.

SECTION 4

  • Legislatures will decide when elections are held in each state.

  • Each house may determine the rules of its proceedings. It may also punish its members for disorderly behavior.

SECTION 6

  • All of senators and representatives shall be paid with money from the treasury of the United States except when they comment treason, felony, and Breach of the peace

  • All bills for raising taxes shall come from the House of Representatives but the senate may propose or concur amendments on other bills

SECTION 8

  • The congress shall have the power to do the following: to lay or collect taxes, to pay the debts, and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States
  • They may also borrow money on the credit of the United States, regulate commerce with foreign nations, to establish laws, to regulate the value of foreign money to define and punish felonies, to declare war, to provide a navy, to call forth the army.
  • Lastly, they can organize and arm the navy , and exercise exclusive legislation in all cases.

SECTION 9

  • No bill of Attainder or the ability to get rid of something generally accepted without giving the citizens the ability to vote

  • No state shall enter into treaty, create money, allow imports or exports, or hold troops during a time of war.
