Purpose

To share your ancestor's story
We have been reading the novel, Two Old Women, and this assignment is related to the relationships that they women share with each other, their families, and their tribe.

Create a Video Documentary

Your documentary must include:

  • Your name and your ancestor's first and last names
  • The name you call your ancestor (Grandma, Papa, Uncle Dave)
  • How you are related to your ancestor (grandparent, uncle, aunt, neighbor)
  • Where your ancestor lives (city, state, country)
  • When and where your interview took place

Some ideas for your documentary:

  • Tell an interesting story your ancestor told you
  • What are some words of wisdom from your ancestor?Tell about something that is different between you and your ancestor
  • Tell about something that is similar between you and your ancestor
  • Tell about an interesting event in your ancestor's life
  • Make a timeline of your ancestor's life
  • What are some words of wisdom from your ancestor?
