WHY IS WAS GOOD TO LIVE IN NEW ENGLAND

  • It was great to live in New England because they had extreme temperature changes. There were also hundreds of farms there so we could get crops for our family, but we had poor soil. We also imported products from other colonies.

Middle Colonies

  • City- Philadelphia
  • Climate- warm summers, cold winters
  • Government- elected own legislature
  • Economy- successful & diverse economy
  • Religion-

WHY IT WAS GOOD TO LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA

  • William Penn was the founder of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was the largest city in America. We had the War of Independence and was held by the British.

  • Economy- royal

  • We didn’t have much water supply, caused by a drought, nor food supply. Soon enough it led to death and disease.
