Hurricane Ike was an immensely destructive Hurricane that made landfall in Galveston, Texas on September 13th, 2008

The hurricane developed from a tropical wave west of Cape Verde.

On September 4th Ike reached its most dangerous as a category 4 hurricane.

The hurricane created massive devastation when it made landfall in Cuba on September 8th,2008.

Hurricane Ike gathered strength as it entered the gulf of Mexico, and then made landfall in Galveston, Texas.
