• Austin, the capital of Texas is the heart of Texas and where the longhorns play

Space Program

• The space program in Texas is the John Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center
• The Johnson Space Center was created on November 5, 1958
• On February 6, 2018 they launched a Tesla into space with cameras on it to see how far it would go.

Cowboys

• The cowboy is a iconic image in Texas history
• They were born in the Cotton, Cattle, and Railroad era where they risked their lives to get their cattle sold
• The cowboy is and always will be a part of Texas
