Google scientists have made a special quantum computer which they say can complete a calculation that would take the fastest computers in the world 10,000 years to solve. They say the quantum computer can calculate it in 200 seconds.
Google announced the quantum computer on October 23, it has not been released for the public.
I think that the authors were explaining and describing because they were explaining the quantum computer and how it works.
Others should care about this topic because it has an effect on the future of computers because then maybe all non-quantum computers will be replaced by quantum computers.
I chose to write about this topic because I love playing on my computer and this article caught my eye.
I think this is the historical lens because it could affect the present and future of modern day technology.
