Hearts of Play features five organizations who work passionately for play in communities around the world. They believe that children everywhere should have the opportunity to explore and experience the power of play and have it help shape their daily lives.

None of the organizations featured here were approached in advance of publishing this Haiku Deck. This is a surprise for all five. I'm counting on it being a pleasant one.

Over the years, I've made connections with three of the five organizations through PlayGroundlogy. The other two I've followed but have not had direct contact with them. There are many more who are not listed here.

You can help by sharing this deck with your friends, families and networks and encouraging them to consider giving the gift of play. Is there any gift as imbued with fun that makes a more lasting impression?

Most have never experienced the joy of a swing or the thrill of a slide. We at Playground Builders are dedicated to building hope and peace through the gift of play.
