• He became known for his movies such as The Patriot, Brokeback Mountain, Casanova, and The Dark Knight.

• Ledger had no previous history of addiction, but had recently separated from his significant other. He had also developed many anxiety and mental issues from his the role as the Joker. These issues started when in order to prepare for the role he locked himself in his apartment for a month.

• On January 22, 2008 his housekeeper found him unconscious and unresponsive. When emergency responders arrived we was pronounced dead.
• He was only 28

EXAMINATION

• Before his death there was speculation from gossip news medias that ledger had been using illicit drugs.
• However after examining his body no illicit drugs were found.

HOW

• Instead an array of medications were found. He died from an abuse of prescription drugs.
• Having 6 different drugs in his system when he died.
• His official cause of death was “combined drug intoxication”.

DRUGS

• Oxycodone - painkiller
• Hydrocodone - painkiller
• Diazepam - anxiety
• Temazepam - insomnia
• Alprazolam (Xanax)- anxiety
• Doxylamine - fever and allergy

PREVENTION

• Ledger could have prevented his overdoes and death by simplify following his doctors prescription. If he had correctly followed his prescription he would still be here today.
