• Preferably at Mosque
• May use prayer beads
• Muezin calls to prayer

Zakat

Zakat- Charity

• Goes to hospitals/orphanages
• Payed depending on item
• Silver, gold, treasure
• Trade items, currency
• People unable to give not required to

Sawm

Sawm- Fasting during Ramadan

• Fast until sundown
• Improves self control
• About becoming better person
• Celebration with gift exchange
• Overeating is common

Hajj

Hajj- Pilgrimage to Mecca

• Must do at least once in lifetime
• Men run in footsteps of Hagar
• Women must walk
• Circle Ka'baa 7 times
• Wear same clothes for equality
