The Three Witches

"When the hurly burly's done,
When the battle's lost and won"

The line "when the Battle's lost and won" from Act One Scene One suggests that the second witch whom delivers the line already knows who is going to win the battle. However the only real information she seems to possess is that someone will win the battle and someone will lose.
