TEN COMMANDMENTS

1.) YOU SHALL NOT HAVE Other GODS BESIDES ME.

• I don't believe in any other god.
• I am faithful to our God and follow his teachings.
• I follow his teachings by helping out others and praying.
• I pray to God before I eat something and thank him.
• I believe in only our God and none of others.

2.) You shall not take the name of the lord, your god, in vain.

• I don't talk about God badly.
• I don't commit perjury to anyone.
• I don't say any blasphemy or disrespect God.
• I don't treat anyone really bad or horribly.
• I stay silent and listen to the priest during Mass.

3.) Remember to keep holy the lord's day.

• Although, I don't always have enough time, I go to Mass every chance I get.
• I try to participate in Family Masses each chance I get on Saturday.
• I fully give my attention in Mass and I don't talk to others.

4,) Honor your father and mother.

• I don't lie to my parents.
• I respect my parents.
• I listen to my parents.
• I don't talk back to them all the time.
• I treat my parents right.

5,) You shall not kill.

• I don't have the feeling to ever kill anyone.
• I treat everyone the same and I don't hurt them.
• I don't treat anyone badly or hurt their feelings mentally.

6.) You shall not commit adultery.

• I respect everyone.
• I have the virtue of chastity.
• I respect my own and everyone else's bodies.

7.) You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.

• I am fair to everyone.
• I respect everyone's belongings.
• I don't get jealous often.

8.) You shall not steal.

• I don't steal from anyone.
• Again, I respect other people's belongings.
• I don't take things without asking.
• I don't just take something and pretend like nothing happened.
• I don't cheat by copying someone else's paper or assignment.

9.) You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

• I don't blame something I did on someone else.
• I take all responsibility when I do something.
• I do not lie to people about something.

10.) You shall not covet your neighbor's goods.

• I do not get jealous a lot.
• I don't steal.
• I don't take someone else's belongings.
