  • Theater was publicized by flags
  • Colorful flags would show that a play is going on.
  • Flags would also tell when the plays were going on too.

ROLE OF THEATER IN THE ELIZABETHAN SOCIETY

  • It brought out people's creativity
  • People would write plays that would inspire many people today
  • Brought people together and would make people think about their daily lives

  • The rose theater

  • The pay rate for actors depended on the actor's duty
  • Male actors who played female parts got lower income
  • Boy's wages were three shillings a week
  • Main actors received two shillings a day
  • Part players average salary were one shilling a day
