Goals for ETEC 6010

• Become a Tech Leader
• Build professional relationships
• Advance personal knowledge and goals about technology
• Research and evaluate new and existing types of technology
• Promote educational technology to peers

The new skills and concepts I have learned through in depth research, required me to study technology at different levels.

I am confident in being able to guide students and teachers to become proficient with the use of technology and support classroom instruction for the future of education.

Significant Experiences

• Showing new and experienced teachers how to use technology to support learning
• Learning how technology is used in different classrooms. Some classroom teachers avoided using technology to support learning. This was surprising and shocking.
• Analyzing the overall attitudes teachers/staff had towards letting students use technology.
• Being able to play the role as leader and facilitator to guide and lead other educated professionals.
