  • In order to function normally, the human body requires physical activity. Cycling is cited as an ideal example, because in addition to contributing to physical health, it also has an impact on mental activities and a better social life. Health changes based on cycling are most common:

Weight management:Cycling habitually, especially at a high intensity, helps lower body fat levels, which promotes healthy weight management. Plus, you’ll increase your metabolism and build muscle, which allows you to burn more calories, even while at rest.

Core workout: Cycling also works your core muscles, including your back and abdominals. Maintaining your body upright and keeping the bike in position requires a certain amount of core strength.
Strong abdominals and back muscles support your spine, increase stability, and improve comfort while cycling.

Leg strength
Cycling improves overall function in your lower body and strengthens your leg muscles without overstressing them. It targets your quads, glutes, hamstrings, and calves.

Boosts mental health

  • Cycling can ease feelings of stress, depression, or anxiety. Focusing on the road while you’re cycling helps develop concentration and awareness of the present moment.
  • If you find yourself feeling lethargic or listless, get yourself on your bike for at least 10 minutes. Exercise releases endorphins, which in turn help you feel better while lowering stress levels. You may feel more confident and content once you make cycling a regular part of your life.

It can help people with cancer

  • Cycling is a fantastic addition to your care plan if you have or are recovering from cancer. Cycling can also keep you lean and fit, which may reduce your risk for certain types of cancer, including breast cancer. According to research from 2019, staying active if you have breast cancer may help reduce side effects of cancer treatment, including fatigue, and improve your overall quality of life.

Improves balance, posture, and coordination

  • As you stabilize your body and keep your bike upright, you’ll improve your overall balance, coordination, and posture. Balance tends to decline with age and inactivity, so it’s vital to keep on top of it.

BENEFITS TO ENVIRONMENT

  • Numerous cities of the 21-st century have a common issue which is: the overpowering preference of cars over other, more environmentally friendly and less congestive strategies of travel.

According to the European Environment Agency (EFA)- the biggest source of carbon emission, which is 27% to the total EU’s CO2 emissions is transport. It is the only sector where emission increased since 1990, continuing to the increase in 2015. Transport emission later increased in 2016 and in 2017 EU oil consumption – a good alternative for transport CO2-increased at its fastest jump since 2001.

The bicycle is one of the most popular solution to these kind of problems. They have been one of the best types of transportation for a long period of time as they have many positive effects on not just overall health but also many important aspects like, environmental, economical, transport, social, physical, mental benefits etc…When it comes to environmental benefit

Cars, which are in large numbers causing many traffic issues, accidents and most importantly pollution can be changed with the most effective ways which is cycling. The bicycle is one of the most popular solution to these kind of problems.

Cycling is reducing the production of greenhouse and other harmful gases which are the main reason for the air pollution. Choosing bike over a car you can largely reduce your environmental carbon footprint.

AND ALSO

  • Eliminate oil dripped on roads
  • Less toxic runoff in nearby waters
  • Small manufacturing footprint

  • More green space/plant life in urban areas.
