WHAT IS ROHYPNOL

• Rohypnol is a drug that causes people to forget what happened while they were on it.
• It is generally involved in sexual assault cases
• In most cases the effects of it can still be noticed 12 hours after they ingest it

HOW MANY PEOPLE USE IT

• Since 2009 the percentage of people that use it went up .2%
• It is not as common in the United States because it is not available here
• There are 60 other countries that made it legal

HOW THEY MADE IT SAFER

• They made the core of the pill a blue color so tampered drinks will turn a blue color

USE FOR IT IN OTHER COUNTRIES

• Rufilin is used as a pre surgery relaxant before they undergo anesthesia
• In Mexico its is used to help with insomnia which is a sleeping disorder
