What are x-rays used for??
X-rays can be used to see if you have a broken bone. They can be used for chest x-rays to see if you have pneumonia.

  • X-rays are powerful waves of energy. Like light, X-rays are a form of radiation.

  • Scientists that didn't know the dangers of exposure to X-rays often suffered burns, radiation sickness, loss of hair, and cancers.
