This is my notes on how a cell is like a city

The nucleus is like the town hall because it is in control and the give directions

The cell wall is like a fence or city gate because it keeps everything inside and protect the city

The dna is like the info center because it has all the info on the city and people inside it

Mitochondria is like the power plant because it provides energy to the city

Chloroplasts are like the grocery store or city garden because they both provide food to the city

Cell membrane is like the police or security guards because they only let the good things in the city and keep the bad things out
