But the only way you can ever change your life is to accept this relentless affection of God for you.

Matthew 9:10-12
Later, Jesus and his disciples were having dinner at Matthew's house. Many tax collectors and other sinners were also there. Some Pharisees asked Jesus' disciples,

"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and other sinners?" Jesus heard them and answered, "Healthy people don't need a doctor, but sick people do."

Throw away your umbrella...

Soak in God's love

Your umbrella are our sins that tries to block God's love from your life

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23

Sin multiplies. We drift from God and our conscience becomes weak that we no longer see sin as sin. The love of God continues but we can't feel it. It is called spiritual death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

Sin separates you from God. Throw away your umbrella and be very wet in His ocean of love.

Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.
2 Timothy 2:19

GO TO GOD AS YOU ARE

Go to God now--as is, where is. With all your garbage. Let Him be the one to cleanse you. Let Him be the one to wash you. Let Him be the one to give you life.

• Do you remember the events in your life where you experienced God's personal love for you in a very real way?

APPLICATION

• What "umbrellas" of sin prevent you from receiving more of His love into your life?
• Make a decision now to give your whole life to God.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I thank you for loving me. Forgive me for rejecting Your love by my sins. I now repent. I throw away all sins from my life. I want to receive all Your love. I now open my heart to You. I accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. I will live for You for the rest off my life. Bless me, in Jesus' name. Amen.
