MINUTEMEN

• The Minutemen were soldiers fighting for the colonists and they had to be ready in a minutes notice for an attack from the British.
• They were one of the first to be alerted in Paul Revere's ride.
• They also went on to fight in the revolution as the war went on.

THE BATTLE OF SARATOGA

• This was a big turning point in the war for the colonists.
• After the surrender of the British the French decided to join the revolution and fight with the colonists.
• This boost gave the colonists enough power to win the war.
