  • My chosen career is an architect. An architect is a person who works to design and build buildings.
  • The cluster this specific job is in is Architecture and Construction.
  • I chose this career because it puts a lot of interest in me since I am creative and it will help people by giving them somewhere to live.

TRAINING

  • The degree you need to have in order to be an architect is a Bachelors degree and a College degree.
  • The length of training is around 8-10 years.
  • The type of school you need to go to is a university.
  • There is actually no necessary apprenticeship to become an architect.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This job can be worked both inside and outside.
  • It will require fieldwork and mostly office work to work as an architect.
  • This particular job requires teamwork in order to get the building done.
  • The dress code is usually all black clothes and shoes.
  • This job is worked in many different locations meaning traveling over long distances in order to get where they need to be.
