PRESENTATION OUTLINE

GRASSHOPPER PLAGUE

Central idea.
In 1873 in western Minnesota Grasshoppers were hailing from the sky and eating all the crops because they were hungry.

Evidence.
On line 10 it says "grasshoppers were flooding down like hail"

On line 4 and5 it says "farmers saw flourishing crops vanish as grasshoppers dissented on their fields"

On line 7 it says " grasshoppers darkened the sky"the text is saying that there were so many grasshoppers that they covered the sky.

Some great things about this radio broadcast are that it tells lots of info about where and when.another is that you know what's happening and it's easy to understand.one last thing is that it shows a obvious piece of evidence which is that in the on the banks of plum creek book the grasshoppers rain from the sky.

One bad thing is that it does not really describe WHY the grasshoppers were raining.another bad thing I would not do is when it was reading the part of the story it was an audio voice, which is not very interesting.
