Reasons:
The project was set up this way for an easier process. Everything necessary was taken care of first.

MAIN

  • Hypothesis:
  • Jogging up and down stairs will raise the heart rate quicker
  • It will take about 1 min to get down to resting heart rate.
  • Independent variable: exercise
  • Dependent variable: heart rate

RUNNING

EXERCISE 1

Conclusion:
Jumping jacks will raise the heart rate quicker. It will take about 1 min to get down to resting heart rate. Person 1 & 2 were worked out for 1 min each. With exercise 2 (jumping jacks) the heart rate raised about 10 beats more than jogging up and down stairs.

The experiment conducted was proof that with each exercise at a different complexity level, took approximately 1 min to get the heart rate down to a resting state.
