During the Fourth Council of Toledo, Isidore helped create a decree which stated that seminaries would be created in every cathedral city. It called for the study of the following subjects : Greek, Hebrew, liberal arts, law, and medicine. This was required of every bishop to carry the decree out.

Saint Isidore inspired me to be hardworking and dedicated to everything I do. He showed me that you can do great things and change many people's lives with the life God has given you, even though it's short. I will strive to be more like him in this aspect. I hope I will be able to help people to a fraction of how much he did. He helped educate and protect so many people with his good deeds! I will try to do many acts of kindness, too!
