• Possibility of a longer life

BUT

• Amazing blessings....but
• Wisdom beyond imagination....but
• Wealth beyond measure....but
• Global fame....but

1-8

• SOLOMON ALLOWED SIN IN
• Greed
• Sexual sin
• Idolatry

9-13

• Proverb 6:27 Can a man take fire in his bosom,
• And his clothes not be burned
• God had already encountered with him 2x
• God specifically warned solomon in 1Kings9:6-7

PUNISHMENT

• Rend - tear to pieces
• Generational sin
• God still granted mercy
