DIET

At 6'9 and 179kg it is critically important that strongman Hafthor Bjornsson eats a lot of food to maintain size and strength for his sport.

In preparation for worlds strongest man 2016, Thor was eating 8 huge meals a day and snacking throughout . These meals consisted of beef, chicken, salmon, eggs , oats potatoes and protein shakes. Thor was eating 14-22 large eggs a day.

His size and vigorous training routine requires him to eat the way he does in order get enough calories in to stay strong/get stronger.

Being the size he is and at a relatively low body fat,it is clear that what Thor is doing is working for him.

This is further backed up by the fact that he is the/one of the strongest men on the planet. In 2015, Thor smashed a 1,000 year old record by carrying a 649kg 30-foot long log on his shoulders for five steps in the World's Strongest Viking competition in Norway.
