PRESENTATION OUTLINE
ACUTE Angle
- a triangle having three acute angle.
Obtuse Angle
- any angle that measures greater than 90%
Right Angle
- an angle that measure exactly 90 degrees.
Straight Angle
- an angle that measure exactly 180 degrees.
Vertical Angle
- opposite angles formed by the intersection of two lines. Vertical angles are congruent.
Adjacent Angle
- angles that have the same vertex, share a common side, and do not overlap.
Complementary Angles
- two angles are complementary if the sum of their measures is 90 degrees.
Supplementary Angles
- two angles are supplementary if the sum of their measures is 180 degrees.
Corresponding Angles
- angles in the same position on parallel lines in relation to a transversal.
Transversal
- the third line formed when two parallel lines are intersected.
Acute Triangle
- a triangle having three acute angles.
Right Triangle
- a triangle having one right angle.
Obtuse Triangle
- a triangle having one obtuse angle.
Scalene Triangle
- a triangle having no congruent sides.
Isosceles Triangle
- a triangle having at least two congruent sides.
Equilateral Triangle
- a triangle having three congruent sides.
