Setting
The setting takes place in 1863 in Germany, then they go to Iceland to go to the center of the earth.

Plot
Professor Hardwigg discovers a paper that when translated and read backwards, says that Arne Saknussemm went to the center of the earth. Then him and his nephew travel to Iceland to descend into mount sneffels and go to the center of the earth.
