  • Established the first USA Federal Judiciary
  • Established two-term precedent

PENNY HEAD

  • Born: February 12, 1809
  • Died: April 15, 1865
  • Born in Hodgenville, Kentucky
  • Abraham Lincoln
  • Made the Emaciation Proclamation which began the process of freedom for slaves
  • Looked over Civil War, and led the union to victory over the confederacy
  • Signed the 13th amendment, that banned slavery from the US

  • Theodore Roosevelt, Jr.
  • Passed Meat Inspection Act and Pure Food and Dug Act to better regulate food production

  • Promoted conservation movement
