If the amount of hours exercise are taken into account then a person who spends more time physically active will reflect a “ Happier State”, because according to abraham Maslow's “Happiness Triangle” it’s vital to have “Safety” in your life in order to be considered “Happy”
Independent Variable: People who exercise VS People who don't
Dependant Variable : Survey Results
According to our results 40.5% of the surveyed people are neutral on how vital physical activity is in order to be “Happy”. Another graph show states that 21% of the students are physically active for 1-2 hrs, 31 % are active for 3-4 hrs and 26% are active for 4+. Another bar graph shows that 79% of overall participants are highly reliable on their phone through the day contradicting how many hours they spend exercising .
After conducting our survey, it can be drawn that 88% of the people are not physically active and rely on their phone for the majority of the time. 54% do not consider physical activity to be vital for happiness. When according to “Abraham Maslow’s” Health triangle falls into the category of safety, which wall self-actualization, esteem, love/belonging, safety, psychology are essential to a “happy person”. In conclusion there are more people that rely on their phone and aren’t physically active, we could improve this project by having a controlled amount of people and asking them each day to take the same survey and see if the results change. * we would obviously have to change the survey a bit*
