RULE OF LAW

• This law said that the country's leader was restricted from laws they can make.

INTOLERABLE ACTS

• Acts that were pass to punish the colonist for the Boston Tea Party and for their other actions.
• They were first called the Coercive Acts by the king who passed them.

STAMP ACT

• Taxes on printed and stamp documents making it harder for newspaper companies and lawyers.
• The tax was around $0.03

SONS OF LIBERTY

• A secret society formed to fight British tax and laws.
• They also protected the colonists rights.
