PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE ROARING 20'S

THE CULTURE OF THE 1920'S

The values of the people during the early 20th century were the American Dream, (the ideal lifestyle at the time) technology, especially cars, freedom and dignity, and pure ancestry.

The 1920's was a time of excitement, politically and technologically. Some major events that happened were the fall of the stock market, automobile invention, the film industry, and the change from British pound (£) to our current dollar ($).

Societal Expectations were strongly based toward women, for them to challenge stereotypes, marry and have children, and basically to do whatever they wish. Dignity and pure ancestry were also expected to fit the expectations.

There was a lot of new technology during the 1920's, including the revolutionary invention of the car, the radio, the washing machine we can't live without, and film, the amazing motion picture.😄

The Roaring Twenties were a time of excitement and new invention, hence the name. Roaring with political corruption, and technological advances.
