Hamlet

Setting:
The town of Denmark

Characters

• Hamlet
• The King (Hamlets uncle)
• Ophelia
• The Queen (Hamlets mother)

Beginning:
The guards of Hamlets castle see a strange sight. It is the ghost of Hamlets dead father the former king of Denmark!

Middle:
Hamlet talks to his father and the ghost tells him that it was Hamlets uncle who murdered him. His uncle is then married Hamlets mom.

End Part 1:
Hamlets uncle wants to kill his nephew so he has Ophelia and her brother work together to kill Hamlet. Then Ophelia's brother attacks...

End Part 2:
... Ophelia's brother then has a jousting match with Hamlet and stabs Hamlet in the stomach with a poisoned sword and Hamlet stabs him in the arm. Hamlet then dies. Ophelia is dead as well.

It may not be a very happy ending but it is a great book all the same.
