GUIDE TO DRINKING

• Men should not drink more than 2 drinks in the first hour
• Men should only drink 1 drink every hour after
• Women should not drink more than 1 drink every hour

• Since 1997 20 millions drivers have been breathalised
• Close to 70,000 drivers have been caught with an illegal BAC
• 1 in 4 drivers killed in the last 5 years had a BAC level over 0.05

STRATEGIES TO AVOID DRINK DRIVING

• Don't drink, if you do drink...
• Organise to take an alternate form of transport eg taxi
• Organise for a designated driver when drinking with mates
• Tell other friends/family members what you are doing
