  • In Japan they call Santa "Hoteiosho"

A Christmas The Orphans Will Remember

  • In Japan around Christmas they have an "Eves Festival" dedicated to the children in the orphanages. They give the children a Christmas they will remember. New clothes, toys, blankets, and bedding will be given to the children. They also have pageants that the children of the orphanage can take a part in and then they end the day with fireworks and a feast. That's a Christmas they will remember.

A Christmas for the sick

  • In some countries most people spend it with their family's, but in Japan they go to the hospitals and give them a Christmas, especially the sick ones. Even though they are sick and hurt it doesnt mean they shouldnt have a Christmas.

The Christmas myths

  • In Japan around Christmas they will put beans in every corner of the house. To push out all the evil.
  • They also put salt around the house top keep out the evil and push in the good.

The Decorations

  • The decorations they put up are lanterns, lights, and all things colorful.
  • They set up gifts in the store and they put up donations for the kids in the orphanages.

The Gifts they Give to The Children

  • In japan they give the girls toy dolls, makeup, jewelry, and glass china dolls.
  • In Japan they give the boys airplanes, trucks, and clothes.

The Couples in Japan

  • On Christmas Eve in Japan the couples go on dates and the guy picks a place to surprise the Ladies. They choose Christmas Eve to be a couple thing with a loved one.
