What is OCD

  • Excessive thoughts which you are obsessed with that lead to repetitive compulsive behavior.

  • Fear of contamination and dirt
  • Requires you to have things orderly and symmetrical
  • Aggressive or horrific thoughts about harming yourself or others

  • Aggressive impulses

Treatments

  • Talk theraphy with a phychatrist
  • Various medications prescribed by a physician

  • OCD cannot be cured but medication and theraphy may help

Plan for someone with OCD

  • Keep yourself away from unorganized enviorments,while out with friends or at school
  • Talk to a physiatrist if your OCD affects you on a daily basis
  • Make sure you take your medication often if needed to prevent worsening of your OCD, before you go out somewhere

  • Always expect the unexpected while your out if your OCD starts to act out don't let it get to you stick it out
  • When you have a choice, always go toward the anxiety, never away from it to face your OCD.
  • Don't get sided tracked by prefection while your out, to prevent the worsening of your OCD
