GONORRHEA

  • Is a bacteria
  • Grows easily in warm, moist areas opening to the womb
  • Very common STD
  • Caused by having sex
  • Very bad symptoms to it

SIGNS & SYMPTOMS

  • Some people don't get the symptoms
  • Burning sensation, hurts while peeing
  • Bumps around parts of body
  • Itching, discharge, painful movements
  • Can cause permanent health issues

HOW ITS TRANSMITTED

  • Transmitted via fluids if man doesn't ejaculate
  • If no condom and they ejaculate in your body
  • Having sex without protection
  • If you don't get help
  • Going from partner to partner carrying it

BODY PARTS AFFECTED

  • Mouth
  • Throat
  • Eyes
  • Anus
  • Vagina/ penis

TREATMENTS & CURES

  • Doctor will send urine samples to labetory examinations
  • Time alone to discuss sex actions with doctor
  • If they think it spread, more test necessary
  • Caught early, get on medications
  • Should be treated for STD'S

HOW TO AVOID THE STD

  • Do not have sex
  • Get checked from doctor after having sex
  • Wear condom
  • Latex condom is most common
  • Go on birth control

  • Active teenagers
  • African Americans
  • Young adults
  • All ages if your having sex
  • Can spread very easily and quickly
