R is for ruthless
The hound is ruthless when it is set on a hunt. It feels no emotion and can catch anything very quickly and almost never fails. The hound then injects the person with chemicals and the person dies. Ruthlessness is often shown in killing without remorse.

S is for single
Montag is a unique person. He is the only one to stop being a firemen by burning people alive. This shows he is the only single person like him in the future.

T is for transform
Montag has transformed from a normal fireman to a fugitive on the run. His entire mindset has changed and nothing is the same. If someone close to him were to hear him speak now they wouldn't recognize him because of how much he has changed inside.

U is for underdog
When montag is running from the mechanical hound he is the underdog. Nobody believes he will be able to escape and yet he does. Him beating all of the odds was very interesting and ended up being a unique situation.

V is for vulture
The mechanical hound is like a vulture. It circles around its prey, hunting it until it is weak and desperate. The hound tried to strike when Montag was vulnerable to everything.

W is for wish
Many people wish for what they cannot have. Montag wishes that he could be ignored and left alone. This is not going to happen because of the crimes he committed and could quite possibly be killed.

X is for x-ray
X-rays show the inside of a person. Beatty speaks in such a way to reveal the true nature of a person. When Beatty speaks to Montag he realizes that inside he really hates the person he was.

Y is for yelling
Yelling is very annoying and catches a person's attention. When Beatty speaks it seems like he is yelling. His words needle at Montag and he gets so fixated on what Beatty's saying that he flips.

Z is for zombie
People in the future are all but zombies. They dont really feel emotions but kind of just take everything in sight. Mildred is an excellent example of this because all she cares about is her "family" and kind of just doesn't care about anything else.
