WHAT HAPPENED?

• Before school: Adam shot and killed his mother.
• Before he arrived at the scene school had already started. (his mom)
• Early in the school year the school updated the security system.
• The doors were locked so, he literally shot an entrance through the door.

WHAT HAPPENED?

• Inside School: 9:30 it was announced that there was a gunman in the school
• the psychologist died right before the announcement was made
• First classroom were there was a substitute teacher and 14 students, he shot and killed everyone
• Second classroom had a teacher and students in it he killed her and 6 students

WHAT HAPPEND?

• 9:30 a 911 call was made
• 2 minutes later police/fireman were there
• At know time when they were there know gun were discharged
• Police secured the biulding make sure there was no other shooters
• The gunman also took his own life

what happend?

• They escorted students and staff out of the school
• They moved them to a nearby fire house
• The news quickly spread through the town, the parents of the students went to the firehouse
• That night the firehouse became a place of gathering for parents:
• "whose loved ones would never walk out of the school" (CNN, 1)

• After the shooting everyone gathered in the firehouse
