• first and last thing whispered into a persons ear
• Muslim=submission to God

Salat

SALAT: 5 DAILY PRAYERS

• Call to prayer by muezzin
• Emphasis closeness to god
• Pray towards the Kaa’ba in Mecca
• Wudu (washing of feet before every pray)
• Don’t have a day of rest

Zakat

ZAKAT:CHARITY

• Reminds people of Gods gift, helps control greed
• Promotes education
• Soup kitchens, clothing and shelter (underprivileged)
• To pay others debts
• Purification (of wealth)

Swam

SWAM:FASTING DURING RAMADAN(9TH MONTH ON ISLAM CALENDAR)

• Fasting from sun up to sun down
• Muslims don’t, (smoking,gossip,arguments) and try to strive for peace
• Reflection , understanding of those less fortunate,giving , forgiveness, community
• ones life peace, harmony and love
• Some people are excused from fasting

Hajj

HAJJ:PILGRIMAGE TO MECCA

• Change into Ihram(men)
• Circle Kaa’ba 7X
• Run between 2 hills
• Pray on Mt Arafat
• ZamZam spring
