Chapter 1
One day when Karana's brother had went to the canyon to gather roots that grow it it, then they noticed a ship with red sails coming closer and closer to their island.

Chapter 2
Captain Orlov and his men had come to the Island of the Blue Dolphins to hunt Sea Otter.

Chapter 3
After their hunt, the Aleuts were towing many bales Sea Otter behind their boat.

Chapter 4
The Aleuts Left the island, the day was sunless, their boat sent waves of water spraying up.

Chapter 5
That night was horrible for the people of Ghalas-at, they had lost 42 men including the Cheif.

Chapter 6
Their new leader Kimki,
Had been gone for one moon. Every day they would go to the cliff to search for the White Men's ship.

Chapter 7
They didn't take anything with them the day the ship left them, except what we needed as the storm grew greater.
