Ranking:
I would give this book five out of five stars. This is because the book was very interesting, and the author made you keep on wanting to read it. I liked learning about Chinese culture in the book. It was also shocking to learn about what happened to the main character.

Editorial Review:

I think this book was amazing. I wanted to keep on reading. Before reading this book, I had never heard of someone in a situation like Adeline's. The only other story I've heard like this, is the actual Cinderella fairytale. At times, Adeline's family treated her so bad, it was hard to believe it wasn't a fairytale.
