  • The Irish had candles for decorations,yet only the daughter named Maria could light them up.

  • In Ireland kids only get a little bit of presents,for they don't have enough money.

Beliefs

  • The Irish believed dying on Christmas Eve was good as the gates are open to everyone.
  • As long as it snowed it was ok,it was considered bad omen if it didnt snow.

Christmas Morning

  • Whenever the kids woke up,they would go rushing to open their presents.
  • When the Irish hung up hollies,angels would go and bless their homes.

Dinner

  • After the Irish were done eating dinner,they would sing and pray.
  • The Irish would eat goose,turkey,and pudding while they told Christmas stories.

Happy Kids

  • Although the kids didn't get much presents,the kids were still happy they got something.
  • Where as the candles were lit on Christmas eve,they guided Joseph and Mary.
