Teens use drugs for the following reasons.

  • They are bored
  • peer pressure
  • they want to look cool
  • influence
  • depression

Reason #1: Teens are bored.
Teens, when they are bored they start to do not so smart things. Some teens even like to decide to do drugs to see how they would react to it.

Reason #2: Peer pressure.
A teenager and or random person can put you under peer pressure. Peer pressure can happen when a friend and/or other person is pressuring you to do something and in this case its doing drugs.

Reason #3: Want to look cool
Teens nowadays think that everything bad in the world is cool. So in this case doing drugs are bad and so their mind just thinks that "everything will be okay in the end and i wont be addicted" but , boy were they wrong.

Reason #4: Influence
People (mainly teenagers) fall under the impression that doing drugs are cool. They think this way because a family member/friend is doing drugs.

Reason #5: Depression.
when a person and/or teen falls under depression they want to get rid of their worries. They feel as if the only way to do that is to either one, kill them selves or two, do drugs.

Summary:
The reasons teens do drugs are 1.they are bored. 2.Peer pressure. 3.Want to look cool. 4.Influence 5.Depression. Teens are slowly becoming the worlds living zombies in my opinion because of the drowsy faces they have when they are on drugs. It doesn't mater what type of drug you're on you can suffer from lung cancer (Nicotine), permanent brain damage (Inhalants), and even lots of itching or vomiting (Heroin). These things can cause you to a sudden death. If you or a loved one is thinking about doing drugs, just don't. You will just look and feel horrible and/or worse than you did before.
