  • Fled to Scotland

LIFE IN SCOTLAND

  • Married king Malcolm III
  • Had 8 children
  • Very generous and giving
  • Took care of many sick people
  • Died in 1093 shortly after husband

LEGACY

  • Brought more civilized practices to Scotland
  • Built churches
  • Improved arts and education
  • Canonized 1250

  • Patron saint of Scotland, queens, widows, large families, etc

  • Was charitable in every sense of the word
