WORLD DISTRUBUTION

  • In warm shallow waters.
  • Usually found by tropical oceans
  • Found in shallow waters, because they need sunlight.
  • Usually found between 30° north and 30° south latitude.

AVERAGE TEMPERATURE

  • Reef-building corals cannot tolerate water temperatures below 64°
  • Many grow in water temperatures between 73° and 84° fahernhite
  • Some can tolerate temperatures as high as 104° fahernhite for short periods.

Average precipitation
There is no actual precipitation in the coral reefs, because there underwater, and snow and rain can't reach them, so no. There is no average precipitation
